01

Ndondo Tree for Every Traveler Project

As part of our commitment to sustainability and conservation, Ndondo Tours and Travel plants one fruit or indigenous tree for every traveler who books a tour with us. These trees are planted in schools, communities, and deforested areas across Uganda and Rwanda.
Goals:
Restore degraded land and contribute to reforestation
Provide fruit trees to local communities for food and income
Encourage eco-conscious tourism
Involve travelers in meaningful environmental action
How Travelers Can Engage:
Guests can choose to plant their own tree during the tour or sponsor additional trees. We also offer eco-certificates as a thank-you for their contribution.

02

Ndondo Youth Skills for Tourism Program

This initiative empowers rural youth by offering practical training in tourism, hospitality, guiding, and customer care — preparing them for opportunities in the growing travel industry.
Goals:
Equip young people with employable skills
Reduce unemployment in tourism-adjacent communities
Promote inclusive, locally led tourism
Build a network of trained community-based ambassadors and guides
How Travelers Can Engage:
Travelers can visit training centers, meet local trainees, or donate supplies. A portion of profits from selected tours supports this program directly.
